I as Light, You as Light.
私の制作は、和紙の上に墨の一滴を落とす静かな対峙から始まります。
私が和紙と墨を選ぶのは、それが「修正のきかない対話」だからです。和紙は墨の一滴を迷いなく吸い込み、墨はその繊細な繊維を伝って自らの輪郭を広げていきます。墨が紙の深部へと沈み込み、境界を曖昧にしていく様は、仏教哲学における Pratityasamutpada（縁起）が示す、個と全が不可分に繋がり合う姿そのものです。
この和紙の上の点は、個々の生命体であり、分子です。墨が繊維を伝い、隣り合う点と共鳴し、浸透し合うとき、そこには単なる計算式では導き出せない複雑な光の干渉が起こります。それはあたかも、「木漏れ日」のような情景です。そして私はそこに、心の安らぎと救いを感じます。
個が個のまま響き合うこと。他者と共鳴することで生まれる安らぎを、私は紙の上に定着させたいと願っています。
そして、この作品の前に立つ「あなた」もまた、一つの尊い点であり、光の一部です。私の描いた点があなたの視線と重なり、響き合うとき、この木漏れ日の世界は初めて完成します。この静かな共鳴のなかに、私たちが等しく抱える孤独への慈しみと、共に在ることの温かさを見出していただければ幸いです。

My creative process begins with a quiet dialogue, the falling of a single drop of sumi ink onto washi paper.
Why washi and sumi? It is because washi is a "vessel of acceptance" that harbors the life of plants, while sumi represents a "breath of constancy" that settles over eternity. The way the ink permeates the paper fibers, blurring boundaries, is the very embodiment of the Buddhist concept of Pratityasamutpada (Dependent Origination).
Each dot of ink on this paper is a molecule, an individual living being, a fragment of light. These dots are fluid—mirrors of ourselves, drifting toward the unknown. Yet, when these individual points resonate and seep into one another, they give rise to a "salvation like sunlight filtering through trees"—a beauty beyond any systemic calculation. I seek to fix this fleeting silence, where the "individual" and the "whole" dissolve into one, onto the paper.
And you, standing before this work, are also a precious point, a part of this light. When the dots I have drawn overlap and resonate with your gaze, this world of dappled light is truly completed. Within this quiet resonance, I hope you may find a compassion for the solitude we all share, and the peace of simply being together.
